Season four of The Hills is set to premiere soon… August 18th to be exact, and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t just a little bit excited, and I’m not the only one.

It seems the entire cast is on an all out media blitz. After two and a half months in hiding the cast is now in full on pimp mode… It would seem that Spencer has taught them well.

Even sweet, innocent Audrina Patridge isn’t above some shameless self promotion…

Well, Ok… So maybe she’s not that innocent…

The innocence vanished just after these naked pictures of Audrina surfaced on the web several months ago. Still… No one can argue that she remains the sweet one on the show…

Maybe too sweet.

In a recent interview with the LA Times Audrina was asked a series of questions about her role on ‘The Hills’, her relationship with the cast members and the media.

In typical Audrina fashion she demurely skirted around the questions so as no too offend either her fans (Who want to go on believing more than anything that The Hills is actually a reality television show.), or her fellow actors… Ummm I mean friends.

For example, when Audrina was asked… Is Lauren your friend?

Her response was “We live together, so yeah, we see each other a lot while the show is taping. Sometimes I see her when it’s not.” Which isn’t really an answer now is it…

Since we can all agree that I’m an asshole anyway, please allow me to translate this answer for those who don’t speak PR…

Is Lauren your friend?

“Lauren Conrad is my co-worker… We nod to each other as we pass on the way to make up or wardrobe and sometimes I get to go to her dressing room when she wants to run lines. Did you know she has fresh lilies imported from Asia daily to be placed in her dressing room? Yeah… It’s pretty sweet.”

Then she was asked… What about Lo? Do you blame moving in together with her and Lauren for the rift in your friendship?

Again carefully trying not to ruffle any feathers Audrina replied… “I do think living in that separate guest house of mine was definitely the cause of the tension between Lauren and me. We were used to being right next to each other in our apartment. I don’t really blame Lo, she and Lauren have been friends for a long time.”

Once again for those of you who are public relations impaired allow me to interpret…

What about Lo? Do you blame moving in together with her and Lauren for the rift in your friendship?

Lo??? Oh yeah… You mean the other girl that “lives” with us right… wink, wink? Ummmm… Yeah well the producers and director felt that the show needed a little more drama, and since the whole feud thing worked out so well with Heidi and… Damn… What’s her name??? L something right? Ummmm Laura? No… Lana? No… Lauren!!! Yeah since the feud worked out so well between Heidi and Lauren they figured… What the hell! Why not write a feud into the script between me and Lo…

Of course she did manage to get a plug in for her MySpace account, when asked… What is your favorite thing to do alone?

Audrina’s answer was “Go on my laptop and answer e-mails. There’s a lot of them. I like to respond to people who message me on my Myspace. The real me is “AudrinaXO”, not all the other Audrinas listed.” I guess even scripted reality super stars aren’t above begging for friends on MySpace!

Anyway… I’m gonna go add Audrina as a friend, ever since Whitney Port filed that restraining order against me I find myself with quite a bit of free time. We’ll see how much Audrina likes to respond to stalkers… Ummmm I mean fans messages. We’ll see…
