Isn’t Love Grand?

20 August 2008 No Comment

You can always tell a woman is becoming comfortable in her relationship when she starts wearing mismatched under garments.

When the relationship is new and exciting you’ll never catch her in a mismatched set of bra and panties. She’s always color coordinated, usually with something lacy, maybe a nice matching floral print or pink hearts accentuating her oh so lovely unmentionables.

Let’s face it… When a relationship is new women rock their underwear like Victoria’s secret models…

Fast forward several months into the relationship…

There she is… Your Victoria’s Secret Model, standing in the bathroom wearing a tattered, raggedy, thread bare bath robe hanging off one shoulder hunched over the sink brushing her teeth with one hand and trying to hold her her back with the other.

Gone are the days of matching bras and panties…

Gone are the days of floral prints and lil’ pink hearts…

Gone are the days of Sexy Playboy Lingerie and silky nighties…

In fact… Lately she has taken to wearing one of your old t-shirts and granny panties to bed.

She catches you watching her out of the corner of her eye. She spits and wipes her mouth on her shoulder and looks up at you smiling… “What?”, she asks innocently.

“Nothing…” you say wistfully, as you brush the wayward strands of her hair back from her face and kiss her gently on the forehead…

“I love you…” she says.

“I love you more…” you say and she turns and begins to floss…

She has definitely become comfortable you think as you’re headed out the door, and you smile in spite of yourself…

Isn’t love grand?

I’m just sayin’…
