Has anyone else noticed the huge influx of cause ribbons lately… I swear to you it seems like 4 out of 5 cars on the road during my commute have a cause ribbon… And not just one cause ribbon, multiple cause ribbons… I don’t get it!

• I don’t really care enough about anything or anyone to ever even passively support a cause… Much less actively support a cause by placing a ribbon magnet… For that matter any magnet on the back of my vehicle. (But that’s probably just me… And I’m okay with that…)
• Aren’t they really just glorified bumper stickers??? Really… Really ugly… Stupid bumper stickers???
• Don’t you get the feeling that the douchebags that put them on their vehicle really don’t give a shit about the causes they represent… Especially when you see someone with 5… 6… Sometimes 7 different ribbons…

  COME ON! Do you even know what autism is asshole??? No… Then why the fuck do you have an “Autism Awareness” ribbon on the back of your Hyundai Accent???

  It must have gone well with your patchwork quilt of other ribbons that I am forced to stare at for the 9 miles I’m stuck behind you in traffic… Jagoff!

Ya know there should be a foundation, an organization to stamp out the infestation of cause ribbons on the highways and byways of America.

I think I’ll organize one… I’ll need something to spread the word and raise awareness though… Hey! Are you thinking what I’m thinking?

I’ll start on the ribbon design right now…
