Remember last year when Kanye West threw a hissy fit, vowing never to return to MTV because even though he was nominated for five awards, he didn’t win a single one, and then was relegated to a small stage for his performance of Stronger
Well… Apparently he doesn’t…
Despite the fact that Kanye promised to never again show his face on MTV, in a cruel twist of fate for us, the viewing audience… He has signed on to close tonights show.
Ironically… Britney Spears
After his meltdown last year Kanye told anyone who would listen that MTV was to blame for Britney Spears’ disastrous come back performance, saying “They exploited Britney in helping to end her career,”, adding “Near the end, I felt so bad for her. I said, Man, it’s a dirty game. This game will chew you up and spit you out.”
Of course… He wasn’t quite as sympathetic towards Britney during his tirade.
Apparently… He was more than a little upset at the fact that she was opening last years’ show, saying “I can’t believe she would perform. Brit hasn’t had a hit in like 5 million years and she opens the show?!?”… But he probably forgot that too.
Question…
Do you think Kanye’s change of heart has anything to do with the fact that his new single, “Love Lockdown,” is expected to drop tomorrow?!?

I really thought he was going to be funny… His entire monologue was how the British people want us to elect Obama. Ummmmm… Who really cares what the limeys want.

However I thought Britney was actually… Well… Normal. Good for her!
Britney was surprisingly sane! Thank God, I actually liked the old Britney, I’m glad she’s starting to surface again.
Yeah… I was really hoping she would perform, but… You can’t always get what you want.
